A game of Carom!

.

After what seems like an eternity, I laughed!

Not caring about the worries, what my future holds? The goals I have got to attain, otherwise am doomed!

No contemplating thoughts or missions or aims or philosophies or time tracking or wasting or investing.

Just there and then,

I felt my presence when I wasn’t there.

The lens shifted from conscious myself, my life, my body, My mind, My spirit to just the game. The laugh. I win or lose doesn’t matter. I laughed when I got the chip and more when I missed the target. My dad messing around, my little brothers and sister looking with wonder, Voicing their opinions. Immersed in the game. Eyes glued to the striker. And so the game continued and ended!

.

Now sitting aback, wondering:
Money can buy all but:
These ordinary moments,
Laughter’s and tears,
Time in space, constrained.

Worries capped-tight, put aside,
Focus spike in the mind,
Wonder bright in the eye,
Spirit high-up in the sky,
Light-flight in the heart.

Well sure,
Money can buy all, but;
This game of carom!

Life is so caged, on-paper, scheduled, calculated, tracked.
Sometimes, spontaneity is all we need.
Sometimes, it’s good to just let go.
Success and failures are due right, absolutely right!
But sometimes, it’s just right to leave all,
The self as well.
